Objective: Using a standards-based curriculum, we will be studying many aspects of science including the nature of science, matter, motion, and forces.
1. Raise hand to speak and respect the person speaking by listening quietly.
2. Be prepared for class when the bell rings (seated, pen/pencil, notebook, homework ready.) Work on “Warm-up" question independently.
3. Disciplinary problems will not be tolerated (consequences: detention, parent/teacher conference.) Rewards for positive behavior include Homework Passes, extra points, random calls/emails home.
4. Remain seated until you are dismissed. The bell does not dismiss you, the TEACHER does.
5. All school rules are in effect in our classroom.
6. Always bring to class an open mind, a good attitude and a smile.
Grading System
